What is Microneedling and who can receive it?
Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling pricks the skin multiple times using a special device with small sterile needles. This induces cellular regeneration via the wound healing process. The tiny channels created from the needles will allow for deeper product absorption and will trigger our fibroblast cells to create new collagen and elastin proteins (proteins that keep our skin firm, plump, tight, and wrinkle-free). Microneedling will "reboot" cellular function, optimizing all of our skin's different types of cells. This can help improve the texture of the skin, decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, lighten hyperpigmentation, and reduce scarring.

Microneedling is a safe and effective treatment for most people; however, there are some contraindications. Microneedling is not recommended for those with irritated skin, current infection (including fungal), active rosacea, psoriasis, skin cancer, or autoimmune disorders. There are certain precautions as well, such as those with diabetes. Schedule a consult to determine if microneedling is a good fit for you! Microneedling with Stem Cell Derived Growth Factors
At HC Skin Care we utilize the most advanced products to go along with your microneedling treatment to maximize results. AnteAGE products use growth factors and cytokines derived from bone marrow stem cells. Bone marrow stem cells are the leader of tissue repair and renewal. They secrete biosignals, called growth factors and cytokines, that act as chemical messengers between cells. They play a role in a variety of cellular activity, such as cell division, collagen/elastin production and distribution, decreasing inflammation, and optimizing cellular function. This will keep your skin looking young, vibrant, and healthy.

During your microneedling treatment, the skin will be thoroughly cleansed and disinfected. A topical numbing agent will be used to numb the skin prior to treatment. While needling, I will use a stem cell derived growth factor and hyaluronic acid solution to....?????? Directly after the procedure, you'll receive LED light therapy to aid in the healing and regeneration process and decrease inflammation. I will finish with a hyaluronic acid serum to hydrate and soothe the skin. After the treatment, you'll receive full post-care instructions and a post-care product kit (which includes AnteAGE serums for best results).
